Mr. Henderson has over 35 years of business experience, including company ownership, sales, marketing and management. He is currently President and CEO of Lightyear Network Solutions, LLC, formerly known as UniDial Communications, which was founded in 1993. His noteworthy success in the telecommunications industry began in 1986 when he oversaw Charter Network, a long-distance carrier serving the midwestern United States. In 1998, UniDial was ranked #19 nationally among Inc. 500's fastest-growing privately held companies, generating annual revenue of $220 million by 2000. During the period from 1997 to 2000, Henderson became the only person to be elected three times as Chairman of the Telecommunications Reseller Association, and was named as one of the most influential people in the telecommunications industry. In 2004 he was elected as Chairman of COMPTEL, the leading trade association in for the competitive telecom industry, comprised of over 350 member companies. Henderson is a graduate of Florida State University, with a B.A. degree in Business Administration.
