COMPTEL Hosts Regional Workshop on Acquisitions
COMPTEL hosted its first Regional Workshop on "Acquisitions from the Perspectives of Investors, Management and the Legal Community." The event, which was held in Boston April 17, was sponsored by Bingham McCutchen LLP, Kelley Drye & Warren LLP, Waller Capital Partners and Matrix Telecom.
The workshop, which drew 50 participants, covered issues such as: The buyer's profile of a target company; The seller's profile for the acquiring company; How the buyer/seller set the value; Financial models; and "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" of the transaction process.
Due to the success of the workshop, COMPTEL plans to offer this event again in another city in the coming months.
