Q: What does your company do and how long has it been in operation?
A:
DrayTek was established in 1997 by a group of talented engineers and is now the world’s leading supplier of state-of-the-art networking solutions. We have migrated from the leading provider of remote access solutions to the customized networking solutions for diverse local markets around the world. At present, DrayTek's solutions include enterprise-level firewalls, mission-critical VPN/VoIP facilities for SOHO and various xDSL/broadband CPE, as well as prospective telecommunication products that can meet market needs and go above and beyond customers' expectations.  Our success comes from the way we build our brand. For us, DrayTek is not only a brand name, but also as a commitment of quality and service.

Q: To what do you attribute your company’s success in the communications industry?
A:
DrayTek focuses on small and medium-sized businesses, which play a major role in driving the economy. DrayTek has established robust firewall and multi-protocol VPN for LAN-to-LAN, and remote access solutions throughout 2012 and is expanding its support for technologies such as 4G LTE, central site trustworthy reputation add-on value. We also have added advanced IP telephony, VPN and firewall, management with VigorACS SI, the implementation of IPv6 and new multi-WAN solutions.

Our efforts to insist on quality and service have been rewarded by various IT evaluation institutions. In 2008, DrayTek's Vigor routers were well reviewed or sought for review by many IT professionals in the United States. In addition, our high customer satisfaction reflects on various rewards, such as PC Pro Recommend, IT Reviews Recommend, and Trust Review Recommend. Those achievements further encourage us to focus on quality and service.

DrayTek's global marketing strategy adheres to the concept of "Thinking Globally, Acting Locally." Our goal is to meet various customers' diverse demands for networking solutions with our commitment on quality and service. We highly emphasize on building the long-term relationship with local channel partners, including distributors, system integrators (SIs), value added resellers (VARs) and retailers/wholesalers who have in-depth understanding of their regional customers. Through our deep connections with those local partners, we create a win-win situation for both sides. For our partners, they can have the products customers want in hand all the time provided by DrayTek. For us, we can ensure our product meeting the demands of each local market. DrayTek’s brand reputation among local channel partners lets a number of ISPs and telco operators incorporate DrayTek products into their service portfolio.

As a result, DrayTek has become one of few networking manufacturers that comes into prominence with own brand business in the world.

Q: What do you see as your greatest challenges going forward?
A: With the rapid product development in the IT and networking industry, end users already have standardized routers. Routers are seen as a commodity and profit are low. Today many companies’ core business is slow and they have other priorities during the economic downturns. People would prefer cheap commodity router products for cost savings or paying more to get more highly specialized licensed solutions to earn privileged Internet Connection Network.

DrayTek wants to provide a third option in the market, offering them premium features, consolidating networking technology, delivering reliable and robust router quality, as well as facilitating the buyer's Internet connection with offering them affordable cost.

We’re ready to bring our highly integrated networking solutions will help consumers and businesses in U.S.

Q: What have been some of your company’s most recent achievements (new customer wins, new service/product deployment, etc.)?
A:
Our success comes from the way we build our brand. For us, DrayTek is not only a brand name but also as a commitment to quality and service.

Quality: Every minor step from development to packaging in the entire process affects the quality of our finished products. DrayTek’s R&D team ensures each single process to reach our standard in order to guarantee superior quality for customers.

Service: Customer satisfaction would be the best method to measure the performance of service. Through integration of our internal R&D resources with external global channel partners,

DrayTek is able to launch various networking solutions to meet different local customers' needs in order to reach the highest customer satisfaction.

Q: Why is it important for your company to be a COMPTEL member?
A: It is our main goal to develop our business in the U.S. while promoting DrayTek Vigor routers and cultivating local channels of SI/VAR, service providers, ILEC/CLEC and RBOC customers network in the U.S. Joining COMPTEL, DrayTek believes we can well expand our network of SI/VAR partners and find the right fit to promote and carry our highly integrated network solutions to the U.S.
