A: SMS/800, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit corporation tasked with providing toll free number resources, database access administration and routing of toll free calls. SMS/800 is currently in the process of requesting that the FCC allow it to change its operational management structure and to transfer its current common carrier status to what we know will be a more streamlined and cost-effective organization.

Q: To what do you attribute your company's success in the industry?
A:  Established concurrently with the deregulation of the telecommunications industry, SMS/800 has been the industry’s go to organization for the nation’s toll free numbering and routing needs.  Staffed with professionals from top to bottom and utilizing 21st Century technology, SMS/800 provides our carrier and responsible organization customers the exceptional service they have come to expect.

A: Notables:

• Successful distribution, maintenance and routing for the existing toll free codes.
• Consistent revenue growth based on improved access and enhanced technology supporting distribution of toll free numbers.
