Q: What does your company do and how long has it been in operation?
A: LogiSense provides billing and OSS solutions for service providers around the globe. We have been in operation since 1998.
Q: To what do you attribute your company’s success in the communications industry?
A: We take pride on producing software that allows service providers to grow and manage operations from within their organization. Additionally, our support team regularly receives exceptional ratings from our customers.
Q: What have been the biggest obstacles your company has faced in the marketplace?
A: Initially it was “spreading the word” about LogiSense – in terms of who we are and what we do. This has changed in the past 18 to 24 months, as we are rapidly gaining momentum and visibility in the marketplace.
Q: What do you see as your greatest challenges going forward?
A: Growth as a company is always challenging. Continuing to find the best employees will continue to be a challenge.
As the service industries continue to change, seeking out new markets in any transaction-based or subscription-based operation will be our challenge.
There will be tremendous consolidation, not only of individual companies, but of industries and markets in the coming years. Keeping on top of this trend and continuing to help industries be flexible with their services and markets will be key.
Q: What have been some of your company’s most recent achievements (new customer wins, new service/product deployment, etc.)
A: Recently signed on with Momentum Telecom and won back a customer (Simple Signal) who left due to acquiring a new company. Winning a customer from our competitor when the client has had the opportunity to evaluate both platforms is always a great show of faith in our product and people.
LogiSense was awarded the Internet Telephony “Product of the Year” award for 2011.
Recently, we began our marketing efforts around M2M billing. With our experience in the telecom sector (high volume transactions/data), our EngageIP software is well positioned to take advantage of this rapidly growing market.
Q: Why is it important for your company to be a COMPTEL member?
A: COMPTEL has a tradition having strong connections within the telecom space. We are looking forward to sharing our industry knowledge with COMPTEL members and learning from them, as well.
